MC5 RELEASES 'KICK OUT THE JAMS (LIVE)', RECORDED DURING THEIR 2018 MC50 TOUR
MC5 releases ‘Kick out the Jams (live)’ through earMUSIC today.
50 years after MC5blew the doors off the Grande Ballroom in 1968, Wayne Kramer hit the road with MC50, joined by Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Dug Pinnick (King’s X), and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla). Today marks the release of a previously unreleased live version of the MC5’s groundbreaking ‘Kick out the Jams’, which was recorded on their 2018 MC50-tour. This version is also included on the 2CD/2LP bonus disc of the MC5’s absolutely incredible new album ‘Heavy Lifting’.
